ABOUT
I'm a hobby potter. I've been dabbling in clay for the past 20 years, and it has become my passion.
Just after high school I went to London for Fine Arts, working in watercolour, acrylic, photography and woodwork.
I enjoyed chiselling wood to create whimsical creatures until I joined the Norfolk Pottery studio [Norfolk Potters Workshop] and discovered clay. Malleable, easy to manipulate...I was hooked!
I helped teach beginner classes, volunteered on the firing and glaze comittees along with taking workshops to learn different aspects of the craft. After attending a comprehensive ceramics course at Mohawk College in Brantford, I then furthered my skills at Sheraton College. There are so many aspects to ceramic art - from how its made to how its glazed and fired - I cannot imagine ever tiring of this medium.
